Wish List #5

1. Cat Print Pyjama Set - Topshop. I have super long legs so these would never fit me properly, so these will have to stay on the wish list forever. But they're covered in a cat motif so how could I avoid loving them?

2. Stud and Gem Make Up Bag - Topshop. I usually just throw odd bits and pieces of make up into the zip pocket inside of my bag, but I think that this looks gorgeous and would make my life so much easier if I actually had a proper make up bag to carry around. (Plus my make up would be safe and sound!)

3. Tall Crepe Pinafore Playsuit - Topshop. I love the whole pinafore dress trend that seems to be popping up on so many fashion blogger's blogs right now. I couldn't find a dress that would be a suitable length for me but this Tall collection playsuit would be perfect! Shame about the price...

4. Rose Leather Mini Organiser 2013 - Paperchase. I usually remember everything that I'm supposed to do or write it down on my wall calendar/phone so I'm not really sure why I want this. It could be because it looks super cute, I dunno... If I got it I'm not sure if I'd use it for too long.

5. Eyeshadow Primer Potion - Urban Decay @ Debenhams. I actually ordered this last week and Debenhams randomly said that they were unable to fulfil that part of my order and refunded me, so on the wish list it goes! I've only used the little sample that I got with my first Naked Palette but I can assure you that it's amazing!

6. Tall Zip Mini Skirt - Topshop. I fell in love with this skirt when it was put up on the Topshop website last week! I love the leather look and zip detail, I could actual do a little drool over it. But at £38 it's a bit pricey for a skirt.

7. Unbelievable Black Leather Ankle Boots - Office. This is a classic case of saving the best for last. I mean, look at them! They're only on the wish list because they don't have them in my size on the website- otherwise I'd have snapped them up immediately! I've been after a pair of boots like these for so long and never thought to look on Office's site. I'll definitely be nipping in to the actual store tomorrow to hunt these down.

Topshop Make Your Own Necklace

I rarely buy Topshop jewellery when it's not in the sale, because one of my few skills in life is the ability to hunt down accessory bargains, but every now and then I'll see a piece that makes me feel as though I can't go on without it around my neck. Well, guess what happened...

I saw this amazing Make Your Own Necklace necklace in a post on the lovely Robyn's blog and thought that it was such a unique and clever piece. It comes in the form of two necklaces; a silver one with letters and a gold one with some lovely little charms. I absolutely love the Hamsa hand! Each chain has a detachable loop so you can attach letters to either of them. The necklace comes with a box full of letters that is supposed to have the entire alphabet and doubles of any vowels, but I actually got a few extra letters thrown in for good measure so I'm not complaining! I think that this is such a lovely, smart idea and I'm a massive fan of personalised accessories so I had to share it with you lovely readers.

You can get your own Make Your Own Necklace on the Topshop website here.

Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub Review

I know that I've been AWOL for about three months but I realised that I couldn't write up decent blog posts when I had to settle back into uni life, adjust to 6am wake ups and stress about my dissertation all at once! No posts are better than bad posts, right? Anyway, I'm going to pretend that I never left and crack on with the show.

I thought that I'd start with a little review on Lush's Bubblegum Lip Scrub. The scrub itself is made from castor sugar (and tastes amazing) and seeing as it's Lush you don't have to worry about any horrible chemicals because it's 100% natural! To use the scrub you only need to take a tiny amount on your finger and then just rub it in like you would do with any other exfoliating product. Just remember not to rub too hard because you don't want to get sore, scratched lips. Once you've applied the product and are happy with the amount of scrubbing you've done the fun part comes- you lick it off! Or you can simply wipe it off, but where's the fun in that?

I've been using the lip scrub since the beginning of last July so I can completely vouch for how amazing it is! My lips weren't in a horrific state, they just started peeling and it especially showed when I put lipstick on. I saw a couple of bloggers mentioning this little gem on their blogs so I decided to bite the bullet and spend £5.25 on it, and I'm glad to say that I did. I used to use it once in the morning and once at night but soon realised that it had made my lips so soft I could go days without needing to go back to it! I know that the price seems a lot, for such a small tub, but you only need a small amount -because a little goes a long way- so I see it as an 'investment' product because it will last for such a long time. It works well on its own or if you're prepping for lipstick application - it seriously just glides onto your lips!

After a good five months I still have well over two thirds of the tub left and I only break it out when my lips really need it because its effects are truly long lasting! I'm not sure which product I'd turn to in a lip crisis if I never discovered this little miracle, it's absolutely amazing!

The Bubblegum Lip Scrub is available in Lush stores or online for £5.25, and worth every penny! Will you be trying out their lip scrub or do you have your own alternative lip therapy?
